After already filling two of the newest and largest halls of TUYAP, SIGN Istanbul 2014 is set to book more venue space to meet record demand from exhibitors.
Growing every year since it was first organised, Sign Istanbul has outgrown its regular halls of the TUYAP Centre and has now been relocated to the venue’s newer and larger halls of 12 + 14.
Organised by IFO Fuarcilik, one of Turkey’s leading trade exhibition organisers, SIGN Istanbul 2014 will be the 16th edition of this successful series and will take place from 11th- 14th September 2014. Due to the unprecedented demand from both local and international suppliers of sign making equipment and materials, digital printing, LED and visual communications systems, additional hall space is now being reserved.
SIGN Istanbul is now acknowledged to be the largest and most comprehensive event of its kind not only in Turkey, but for the European and Eurasian region. Over the four days, SIGN Istanbul 2014 is anticipated to attract some 22,000 professional visitors from the advertising and signage industries who will take this opportunity to view the latest products on display from hundreds of the sectors leading suppliers.
Sign Istanbul has played a significant role in transforming the region’s sign-making industry into a multi-billion dollar sector which now incorporates industrial and commercial advertising delivering international standards and recording consistent growth.
Before the end of the previous fair it became clear to the organiser that the traditional halls would not provide sufficient space to accommodate the growth in space demanded by existing and new exhibitors. IFO Fuarcilik Management moved SIGN Istanbul 2014 into two of the larger halls but it has now become apparent that even more additional space is required. Mr. Zekeriya Aytemur, Managing Director of IFO said, “These newer, larger and more modern halls will provide an excellent backdrop to SIGN Istanbul 2014, an event that continues to grow and develop alongside the market it has represented so successfully for 16 years.”
3 Continents in 1 Fair!
Sign Istanbul is strategically located in Istanbul at the centre of long established trading routes between Europe, Asia and Africa and is the commercial hub for the region. As such it is a convenient location for thousands of buyers from Eurasia, CIS, the Balkans, Middle East and North Africa. In 2013, SIGN Istanbul attracted thousands of professionals coming from 74 countries and three continents. The fair hosted 370 exhibiting companies from 28 countries including the USA, China, Japan, Germany, United Kingdom, France, South Korea, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain and Australia as well as the most innovative Turkish suppliers. The organiser is targeting a 20% growth in the number of exhibiting companies and at least 10 % growth in the number of visitors.
