Buoyancy of SIGN İstanbul 2018 gives renewed confidence to the industry for 2019!
More than 300 companies from 27 countries attended the 20th International Industrial Advertising and Digital Printing Technologies exhibition; SIGN Istanbul, held at Tüyap Beylikdüzü by Tarsus Turkey and İFO. The exhibition, which is the biggest in its field in Eurasia, was attended by a total of 21,731 professionals, 2,825 were from overseas.
Over the course of four days SIGN Istanbul 2018 showcased hundreds of industry innovations, ranging from millions of dollars’ worth of digital printers, multi surface printing technologies, vehicle covering applications, laser machines, textile printing and promotional products.
Tarsus Turkey General Director Zekeriya Aytemur, pronounced the exhibition a great success, he also mentioned that the vitality in the exhibition, which provided unique trade opportunities both for manufacturers and investors, had been an essential source of motivation for the sector to enter 2019 with renewed confidence.
Mr. Aytemur stated: “The fact that the exhibitors and domestic and international visitors who add SIGN Istanbul to their exhibition agenda every year have left the event highly satisfied makes us proud.” He also added that the industry kept get bigger with each edition of SIGN, directly contributing to the growth of the sector, and that his main objective was to make SIGN Istanbul , already the market leader in Turkey, one of the top three exhibitions of its kind worldwide.
SIGN Istanbul presented new technologies, competitive innovations and commercial opportunities, driving the industry forward and giving the sector a renewed vigour. The exhibition featured respected international brands Ricoh, Mimaki, HP, Roland, Mutoh, Efi, Epson, Canon, Oki and Xerox alongside leading manufacturers and exporters such as SDS, BES Reklam, Işık Plastik, REMİFOL, Frimpeks, AYKA Lazer and DIAFO Reklam, representing more than 300 exhibitors from 27 countries.
The 20th edition of SIGN Istanbul International 2018 organised by Tarsus Turkey and İFO was visited by 21,731 professionals from digital print houses, advertising SMEI’s, textile manufacturers, advertising agencies, print houses, promotional agencies, machine and material manufacturers, industrial advertising producers, retail material distributors and architects.
This year digital innovations were at the fore at SIGN Istanbul, which consistently stands out with the variety of new technology it has on show, being one of the most important exhibitions of its kind, not only in Turkey, but also in Eurasia. Many innovations were on display, from advertising application equipment to small size printing and documentation technologies, transfer materials, printing inks, LED and LED screens, product display stands, and serigraphy to promotional products.
